I have seen on the site the paper of Irmi Gegner_Sundler about Karl August Dietrich von Elern who was the owner of Bandels PR.Eylau
I have also seen the paper of Christian F. Maultsch about Bandels. The youngest son of Karl August was Carl Moritz Oscar von Elern.The name of Karlemann von Elern (1886-1964) dead near Bonn, is also mentionned.
Aniela von Elern who seems to have lived near Varsovie married Philippe Ballu de Passay who was the brother of my grand mother, Marthe Ballu de Passay.
Aniela von Elern was one of the first women car racers. She died in 1930 at the steering wheel of her Bugatti during the Alger "grand prix" in north Africa.
